New Friends

Zac started Kindy this year. He goes four afternoons a week and he took to it like a duck to water. Like an unbalanced parent I worried most not about whether he would be good a good student but whether he would make friends.
Six weeks in and I no longer have any fears.
He seems to be well liked by the teachers but most importantly he seems to be well liked by the children. In fact he has been invited to his first play date, yay. What makes this new friendship serendipidous is the new friend's mother is my new friend also. Not only this but they live within a couple hundred metres from us and they are a church going christian family.
But (and there's always a but) the two boys will never go to school together after this year. Noah will be going to a private school next year and Zac will be going to a public school.
None the less hopefully this year will make me less worried at the beginning of the next school year about friendships and leave me with room to be worried about school work.
