Hi Eli,
Children in Australia go to Primary School for 8 years and then go to High School for 5 years.
The food we eat is very similar to you. Lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, at the moment cherries and mangos are in season. We eat meat like lamb, beef & chicken, and because most people in Australia live close to the sea we eat seafood as well.

Kristie has the answer for school attendance.
You can order a Kangaroo Steak in many places throughout Australia and vegamite sandwiches are very popular in school lunches - at least they were when I went to school.
My favourite meat is roast lamb and my favourite vegie is brussle sprouts.
For desert on Christmas day Aunty Trish will make a pavlova - the best thing since sliced bread - YUMMY!!
